How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Congrats man. I am landing in Calgary on Oct 18.

I plan to land in calgary as well, please let me know you experience after landing. Also i am wondering i need to go to the states after landing was wondering on the deal is about returning to canada given that pr cards dont come in nothing less than 3 months.....

Are you in Canada or Usa. It is normal to take 4 to 6 weeks for getting passport back.

hang in there bro... I am still waiting since Aug-26... there is only one thing that I don't like about Canada, and that would be CIC!!

CIC just called me... They asked me if I received my passport yet. I told them my Canada post tracking number of my return package and the lady told me that she will check it and email me back. They sent me an email 2 weeks ago asking me if I sent them my passport to them yet.

I am really worried now... It's unusual that they keep checking with me...

Hi guys, the end of this week will be the 6th week for me waiting. I was reading an earlier post under this topic and someone waited the most 2 months, I hope we don't have to wait that long. It is advisable not to send too many emails to them as they can undermine the processing of our passports for a while, that's how ridiculous they handle things. I am a PNP as well. Vova0522, I hope they located your passport, did you see it on your tracker when you mailed it? Normally you would see who signed for it. Best of luck to everyone.

yes I'm already in Canada on a study permit which expires next year, but still waiting for over 6 weeks or more is ridiculous. People who got Passport request recently are receiving their passports back within a two/three week span. Although I am already in Canada i just want to get this landing thing over with and move on with my life. Without a PR your like half balanced. I hope you get yours soon. Maybe it would be good to have your MP call them, normally they have a friend or connection with Immigration. I had a close connection with my MP in the past who called up somebody there to ask a few questions which helped, but he retired, so I will just have to wait and see. Are you in Canada as well? Well I'll be praying about it today for an activation between now and friday. Blessings.

Now THIS IS WEIRD!! Just half an hour after I emailed the MP, CIC emailed me saying that yes, your passport is here, and it is in the process... We will send it to you soon...

Although I had no idea that stamping a visa requires almost two months of hard working of dedicated CIC employees!!!!! I am still very happy that they moved their butt to reply on my email... So I know my passport is not lost !!!!!
