how long Does CIC local office take to contact you??

Hello guys, I have a question , I submitted a sponsorship application inside Canada, and my ecas says my file was transferred to CIC local office in Etobicoke, and they will contact me , they transferred it on February 2, do you know how long I will get a mail from them, I thought it will take few days and almost one month and I have not received anything yet??

Depends on how busy the office is. Local offices in urban areas such as GTA, Montreal and Vancouver can take months to contact you about your file, not weeks.

when your visa office contacted you, they notified you for an interview, or how they work?
because I dont know if for sure I will be interviewed;

hello yup i recievd a letter called Call In Notice and i had it today.the officer interviewed me and she is nice and polite,im on finishing of my application but unfortunately i need to go back on the 13 of march because she need 1 doc that i missed to provide.She told me not to worry and its for the future of my fam.So hopefully its positive..cross my finger for two weeks!When did ur application send to local office?is that a case of spousal application too? :-\

they transferred my file 1 month ago maybe is soon but I am nervous to know, plus I have a refugee case in process and I hope to get a decision about spousal sponsorship before they can reject my refugee case.

goodluck to you because when i called the call center agent they told me 4-6 months after they transfer ur files to local office they will contact you if u need an interview.and thats true in my case.hope yours too.
