How long do we have to come over after PR is confirmed?

Hi all,

I have a question I hope somebody can help me with, as I cannot for the life of me seem to find the answer anywhere on the CIC site.

I wanted to know, if I were to receive confirmation of PR in Canada, how long we will have after the confirmation to come over to Canada? We are already quite far ahead in the whole process, and have been lucky enough to receive OOPNP, which we are still amazed about! We now have the 600 points needed to go back into the EE pool, and hopefully get picked up for PR.

Whilst I know, even if we were asked, there is still no guarantee of actually getting the PR, even after we have got all of our things together, I would still like to know what would happen if we were lucky enough to have full confirmation of PR? Do we have long to work out what we will do with our lives this end, or is it a case of 'pack up and leave' ?

If anyone can help me out on this I'd be so grateful. As of yet we have no idea.

Before your medicals expire

After recieving the confirmation of PR, you have to land in Canada within one year from the day you did your Medical Exam.

you have to upload your medicals details with all other documents after you get your ITA. They're valid for one year from the date you do them.
