That's my question.
We will be entering Canada for the first time in a few months.
When we enter the country the first time, is there a minimum amount of time we have to stay?
I know that we need to be "present in Canada" for 730 days in the next 5 years.
I also know that we will go through the "immigration procedures" upon arrival at the port of entry.
I just want to know about the first visit/entry into Canada and if there's a minimum time we have to stay in the country.

thanks!

There's no minimum.

Just make sure to use the washroom before u board ur flight back...

But in short immediately. Make sure to spend atleast 2 years from next 5 years after landing in canada and u cannot enter canada if u dont have pr card. Make sure someone in canada receive ur pr card and can hand deliver it you or get it to u somehow where ever you are.
