How long did it take to get your RCMP background check back?

My husband just did his last week along with his FBI fingerprints we mailed off.

it has taken us 9 months and we are still waiting

well he had to do his fingerprints in costa rica and sent the forms to the embassy in guatemala, and the embassy sent the request for the criminal record check in January. We still dont have it yet very frustrating

Oh sorry to hear that. We got it done here in Canada, and it was sent electronically, we were told it would be faster. We'll see...

Electronically in Canada, most received back in 72 hours, paper prints 3 months.

Rcmp fongerprints outland should take 2-4 months max.....
try doing them again and mail them to the rcmp directly with the embassys refrence..
most of the time they send the results just over a month.
