Yes that is possible as long as you get a student visa for the US. Studying is not a reason not to meet your 2 year residency obligation so make sure you can meet the 2 years. If you are studying for anything more than a 2 year masters I thinknyou will find it hard to meet your RO. You could also study first and then apply for PR.
