I have received my PR in Canada under the Manitoba provincial nominee. I wish to enter Manitoba and leave after one month or so after obtaining my PR card. Is this possible?

Also I want to go back to my home country for a period of 2 years and get back to Manitoba permanently. Is this possible? What are the requirements to re enter Canada after my stay in my home country? Will this be a problem to me in any manner?

Please kindly advise.

Thank you.

You can legally be outside Canada up to 3 years out of 5 year period. If you plan to leave Canada for 2 years after 1 month of getting PR, you can do so without affecting your status. As long as you maintain 730 days inside Canada out of 5 year period, you are fine.

Just your valid PR card and passport will be only needed to re-enter Canada.
