How long before receiving letter of acknowledgement?

Tried searching for recent information after Express Entry was introduced but didn't turn up anything. Can any share how long it took before they received their letter of acknowledgement? Just trying to figure out how long before I can apply for my BOWP.

Hey, do you mean AOR? well i applied in September 2014 and recieved acknowledgement by email in Jan 2015, so 4 months for me. But CEC no longer exists, now people are applying through express entry which I believe is much faster and AOR comes very quick.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Yes, I meant AOR! Sorry about that. I was trying to find out if you receive AOR immediately now that everything is online through EE or if there is still a bit of a delay.

Im not sure how long aor takes for EE, this is the CEC forum, check or post the question again in the express entry forum, I'm sure all your answers are there

I applied using EE but my invitation was for CEC so I thought I should post here about it since the AOR comes after submitting my CEC application. I saw a few signatures from other members and it seems like you get the AOR as soon as you submit your CEC application. If anyone had a different experience, please feel free to respond and let me know how long it took before you got your AOR. Thank you
