How long Backgroud check takes??

Hi guys

I applied inland under experience working class and I submitted my profile on 6 November and on 16 November they required an extra document which I did submit and they received it. And my profile says Background check in progress ever since. How long does the background check usually take?

It will be in Progress until you get a passport submission request. could take from a month to 6 months to complete the whole process.
