How long after medical?

Hello everyone, got medical request on 2nd Sept. According to the assessment summary, the emedical report was submitted to CIC on 5th September. Application was paper based. Is getting medical a step further to visa approval? When can the decision be expected now?
Experienced members, please suggest.

you can never predict how long will the VO take to make a decision, and no medical approval cannot determine your visa status.

I never got any medical updates. I applied on 28th July paper based submission under SPP, got passport with visa in hand on 2nd September.

Thanks, I hope I get to wish you too. Sooner. But dont lose hope. since the medical report was submitted this month, expect by friday. or next week, meanwhile ask for extension from college
