I'm listing the way my application will be organized, maybe it can help someone out who's having trouble.

For reference, these two threads helped me greatly while organizing:

Hi,

I'm just about to send off my application (finally) but I just have one question, did you send a copy of your passport and birth certificate in both of your envelopes? I see it says that in your post:)
It's so hard to know where to put everything because both of the checklist have the same things on them! I just don't want them to have to look for everything.

Thank you for helping me with organizing my application:)

Considering it's their job to look through everything, just put it all in order of one of the checklists and be done with it. Don't worry about the agent being confused, this is what they do. I organized mine to the country specific requirement checklist.

RE the birth certificate and passport photocopies, it will be each document for each person named in the application. Ie. birth cert and passport for the sponsor, birth cert and passport for PR applicant and any applicable dependents.

For what it's worth, I never included a cover letter, I never wrote on the outside of the envelope what was inside, I was light on supporting evidence of our relationship, and they had no trouble processing my family class sponsorship application within a few days of processing.

I don't know if this tip will help, but just in case: Make sure on your cover letter you write "outside of Canada" if it is Outland or "inside Canada" if it's inland. Some people got their applications returned to them because Mississauga thought they were applying inland instead of outland and they hadn't sent in the correct forms.

A very good idea.
