Just a small note here, you will actually send your completed sponsor/applicant application to CPC-Mississauga. After they approved the sponsor, CPC-M will then send your package to Manila for applicant processing. There is a section in the application where you write that Manila is your preferred choice for processing.

That's what actually we preferred,temporarily I'm residing here in Bahrain but my nationality is Philippines so better to choose Manila for processing but I'm thinking maybe it will cause any confusion, what do you think guys?.

So basically I need to apply for a visit visa for an additional evidence that we have tried everything to live together..I'll keep note on that

hi there im newbie here.. may i ask do you have to translate your conversation in english? i mean in ym history and skype? and what do i do coz my phone bill i already threw it away... i never know that it would also be included... we only had.. this... ym and skype from the start up to present.... and also in fb... and also the receipt i bought for him... all i find out here that,, it can help... any one can give me advice.... thanks in advance... :'(

All of that is fine! I would translate it, but I'm not sure if you HAVE to. But I wanted to reassure you that you don't NEED the phone bills. What you said, skype, fb, and the like is fine Not everyone can call each other so not everyone includes the phone bill

How much emails did you guys send?

I printed 90% of our emails to each other and boy this is a LOT. It'll probably be 5-10kg when it's all done.

New forum member with our wedding planned for later this month... and I must say, finding this thread is like seeing the clouds part and hearing a heavenly choir. Oh my stars and garters, thank you for putting this together. Even seeing this as a neat, organized package took some of the stress off our heads.

Now to go through twelve years of emails/chat logs, and wonder what conversation might arise if we include photographs of us with celebrities at comic conventions, as we don't have that many photos of the two of us together that aren't in costume or on roller coasters.

Anyway, hubby is now fully settled, found a good job. it wasn't easy since his background, banking, is not that in demand out here, but he managed to get a warehouse job in an oil and gas company and he even prefers this than being in a bank! So this summer he will be taking the driver's test and hopefully by winter we will not be commuting anymore. Last winter was tough! It will be his first summer here so I am excited to bring him to picnics, bbqs, and Calgary Stampede of course! Our dog is also loving it here, he's the only one who enjoyed the winter and all that snow. Lol

Looks like I will be here again quite often as my brother recently got married and is now starting the sponsorship process so I am helping him out.

Just a quick question. I just paid the fee last night via online payment and I fill out all the informations on the printed receipt but where could I get the client id? I have my UCI/client id from my permanent resident file. Should I use it or this client id is different number from my PR file?

And another thing, where should I place the Appendix A (Country specific guide) checklist? AFTER or on the TOP of the sponsored/spouse forms?

Man, now I wish I had kept the ticket stubs from all of the times we went to the movies! lol This is really amazing.

It's probably too late to answer those who were asking about how many emails to include, but I asked a similar question elsewhere, and got the answer to include "only the relevant stuff" for those who have a lot to go through. For myself, I've been friends with my Canadian for almost ten years, though we've only been dating for just over one, so it really narrows down the stuff I have to go through, as I have daily logs for at least five of those years. And daily doesn't just mean an hour or two of chatting, but five or more hours a day, and that's on days when we DID work. Off days are probably closer to twelve, or more.

I did the same too with our emails. We opted print out the emails rather than chat threads because it's easier and it was listed on the checlist

Our application weighed 3 kgs. hehehe ;D ;D ;D

I agree...husband and I were in a relationship for one decade before we got married. So we used prepaid cards before because of our limited funds as we are still college students during the long distance relationship. And the guide says you should not include prepaid cards because it doesn't count as a proof.
