How I Can Prove My Self-Employed Work Experience? (NOC - 0124)

Hello there,

I owe six plus years of work experience, running a private limited internet media company from my home office ~ handling all the operations single handedly as I keep on hiring freelancers (outsource work) from time-to-time.

I am currently standing at 407 CRS and hoping that with the current trend will get the ITA within next one or two cut-offs.

My question is what I can consider including in my application to prove my self-employed work experience although I am proposing to submit the following -

1. Company Incorporation Certificate (Issued by Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, India on June 02, 2011).
2. Director Identification Number (as I am one of the company's director while other is mine mother, again issued by Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, India on June 02, 2011).
3. Billing done through PayPal (data worth of over 400 pages; average 1000 to 1500 transaction per year, all the transactions are majority in USD)
4. Company's Income Tax Return (Duly Signed and Attested by CA) [* Question here - mine company got a loan which might be shown in the last year returns, will it be a problem of any how]
5. Mine Own Income Tax Return
6. Since Mine company is an internet media company, I got huge presence over the web ~ got number of publications, radio station and lots more which I developed in all these six years of existence.
7. Interviews of mine published in various publications.

Any other thing if you suggest will be required to submit? Please guide.

I suggest you speak with a lawyer about this. I don't think there are many people in this forum who can answer your question since this is a complex case. most people here are employed somewhere and can simply get a letter from their employer. In your case you will be issuing the letter for yourself so I am sure there are a lot of legal complications.

Get the reference letter from your clients. Thus the only way..

My 2 cents to your case.

Take the route of showing working as MARKETING guy instead of owner.

Reason, it becomes MUCH EASIER to tackle everything.

You can get your reference letter signed by other owner (mom), get your salary slips and done.

It will take only a week to do everything in a proper organized way.

Question here - I did think like this but a question here is that my company website refers to me as CEO/CTO while the interviews of mine which published all over these years, refer to me as a CEO-Founder - What I will do with this?

Salary Slip thing is fine as I am taking my salary regularly from the company from past five years + while company existence is of six years and more.
