Some "scammers" just don't take pride in their work these days. There is a theory, that if the initial approach letter gets through the "sanity check", even when badly messed up, the potential victim is more likely to be reasonably easy to separate from their money. I'm glad to see that the OP was not such a victim.

Hi, just switch up your email address to a new one. Example, from markins@gmail.com, you can change to markins01@gmail.com and ensure you don't subscribe to unsolicited materials on spurious websites going forward. Abandon the old email account, all the best ahead.
