How fast RQ is being processed in 2014?

Folks, can you please update me with your personal experience on how fast your RQ was processed in 2014. Have they speed up significantly compare to 2013 and previous years? Thanks.

I applied on 16-jan-2014, received RQ on 26-may-2014, send RQ back on 6-june-2014.
Last heard from CIC call center that the file is transfered from Mississauaga to St Clair for RQ review.
Ordered ATIP also.

When did you call them to confirm file transfer to St Clair and what, in your personal opinion, caused that RQ?
How long does it take to get an ATIP report these days?

My RQ is because of 13 trips to USA, 8 of these were day trips.
Also i am a independent IT Consultant

have you explicitly mentioned that you are an IT consultant?
I am in the same situation like you but in the work history I put (MYCOMPANY (CLIENT NAME) ) and i had 14 Trips outside and most to USA too.
mycompany is the one I incorporated and work at client site. I never mentioned contractor or consultant explicitly.

I am just curious how yours got RQ before test? thanks
