hi,

It really depends upon many factors like college accredition, course you will be studying in Canada, proof of funds etc. I came from India on a study visa and I got it without any problems...for your information, I applied for UBC MBA program which is in the top 100 MBA programs worldwide...In addition, I appeared for all the required tests like IELTS academic and GMAT. I did had 4 years of work experience in India in a very large corporation as a Manager after finishing my Engineering...So what I am saying is if you have a strong educational background in India and enough funds to stay through out your program in canada without working, most likely u will get a visa...

Hope this helps...

Thanx yajumba

I have a similar profile like yours .

Just one Problem I have 55% in Masters which is just B grade for canadians (in some cases) . I have 10 years experience.
You think UBC will accept me into their MBA

Hey

I think 55% won't be a problem for you because u get it in your Masters. My suggestion would be first appear for all the exams like GMAT and IELTS academic. Then according to your score, apply for MBA program. In my opinion, it is better to apply for specialised degrees like science or engineering if you are an engineer from India. There are not enough jobs for MBAs after graduation. Or try in Toronto where there are far more jobs than Vancouver. So just research a bit and then apply. If your aim is to immigrate to Canada, study may be a good options but it will not guarantee your immigration. Few of my freinds after finishing their MBA has to go back to India. So really your call. In case you decide to apply for UBC MBA just let me know and then I will try to help you as much as I can.

Hope this helps.

Hey yaju thanx again

Will it be difficult to find a job with a Top Ten ranked canadian MBA degree?

Also does more work experience mean better MBA school given that one satisfies GMAT and IELTS conditions ?

Does one need Tax documents for student permit ?
