i was deported 2 days ago and the CBSA officer told me in the interview that I had a good attitude and he would recommend me to apply ARC and he would give positive review on my case.
I was on misrepresentation case and should be out for 5 years.
If I apply ARC, what are the reason I can use and how big is the chance?
Thank you everyone

An ARC cannot override a misrepresentation ban. It can only fix the deportation. If you have a 5 year misrepresentation ban, you can't apply to come to Canada until the ban is over.

What is the full story of what happened to you? When were you given the misrepresentation ban?

The ban issued December 2016.
The CBSA officer in the interview said I can apply ARC and if I got approved I can come back to Canada.
He laid to me?

If you were given a misrepresentation ban in Dec 2016 then the earliest you can apply to return to Canada is Dec 2021. You'll need to forget about Canada until then.

Given the ban for misrepresentation and the attempted H&C application, I’d say the chances of any sort of visa will be slim to non existent even after 2022.

Even my wife is a Canadian?

Yes, even if your wife is Canadian. You are banned. If she tries to sponsor you now, your application will be rejected because of the ban.

After 2022, your wife can sponsor you and you should be fine as long as the relationship is genuine.

So the 5 years ban starts the day I left Canada which was 2 days ago?
