How does your MP helped in your applications

any experiences that the MP does in your application?

My MP wouldn't do anything for my application. I personally went to my MP's office and she said they don't get involved in spouse sponsorship applications and she couldn't do anything unless I knew the MP personally.

MP would definitively help out if he/ she is Libral or NDP!
Other than that don't count on anything.

I went to mine here in Hamilton and right away they emailed IMM. And got a answer when they wouldn't answer me.

can u pls tell what city are u so we can compare some MPs?

Just adding up to what I mentioned earlier.
MP can check the status of your application and see what's going on, more importantly MP can request a bring forforad for your file if your file is sitting there doing nothing. The only thing MP can't do is to interfer with CSIS when they are performing background checks.
Keep in mind, most MPs don't like to get involved directly with CIC.
