How does no valid job offer affect my (EE/CEC) ITA Score? (Received ITA on May 28, PGWP expired on May 11, have applied visitor record before May 11)

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about the immigration policy, could anyone please help me understand with the Immigration Act?

# Here is my situation:

(1) Received an ITA on May 28, 2020

(2) PGWP (post-graduation work permit) expired on May 11, 2020

(3) I was re-entry Canada with an eTA on Jan 14, 2020 ( *, please see the explanation below )

(4) I've applied for a "Visitor Record" to extend my stay as my eTA expires on July 12, and I applied it before May 11, 2020.

(5) So far I have 15 months 27 days Canada Work Experience

(6) I have studied and worked in Canada since 2015, and I've lived in BC in the past 4 years.

# Here are my questions:

(1) How does "no valid job offer" affect my score as the ITA letter mentioned? (I did not receive any extra points or 50 points from LMIA)

(2) I understand that I can not work until I receive a confirmation of Permanent Residence unless there is a company offer a work permit.

Is this correct?

Because it seems a bit confusing with this page, which says, "You can only apply for a work permit from inside Canada if: ... you're waiting on a decision on
an application for permanent residence from inside Canada."

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/temporary/eligibility.html

(3) I'm currently living in Quebec, and I understand that in order to meet the requirement of EE/CEC, I have to move out of Quebec, and update the new address on the "Address History."

Is this correct?

I looked upon the CIC website, which states that "an eTA is allowed to stay in Canada up to 180 days.
I guessed I was requested to apply for an eTA at my home country airport because my PGWP was less than 6 months at that time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my long message. I genuinely appreciate it.

1) No impact.
2) You won't be able to work until you have landed and become a PR. Having an approved COPR does not entitle you to work. You must complete landing formalities.
3) Yes, you should move out of Quebec or you'll have issues getting approval.

To clarify, an eTA is simply an electronic authorization to board the plane to Canada. Every temporary resident needs a TRV or eTA to fly to Canada. It had nothing to do with your PGWP being valid for less than 6 months. You entered on your PGWP. Nothing expires July 12th. Your PGWP expired and you are now on Implied Status while your visitor app processes.

Thank you a lot for the explanation! That makes more sense now. :)
