Hello hope u all are doing well!!! Can anyone plz guide me how I can get in touch with Manitoba employers and eventually can get selected by Manitoba Strategic Initiative...?

Have you looked through the Manitoba website to determine your eligibility. The Manitoba strategic initiative is oversees recruitment missions of Manitoba companies. You attend and meet with companies and possibly get an invitation. With Covid, missions are on hold.

If you are supported by the city of Morden it also classes as under a strategic recruitment initiative. However there is no employer involved.
You can check the program out at www.mordenimmigration.com

Hi Naturgrl thanks for your reply and provide information. Yes I have been through the website but was confused about recruitment missions their plans and events. Anyway I think it will be nearly impossible for me to be part of their event in person.

Hi Wotsit I would also like to thank you for suggesting a program, never known to me. Anyway since my First cousin is living in Winnipeg Manitoba, I do not qualify for this stream as they required someone who DO NOT have any connection outside Morden.

I would appreciate if anyone on this Forum can advice me about my selection of Target destination in Manitoba. Though my cousin lives in Winnipeg but I have selected Brandon to add up 50 more marks in my MPNP Skilled Worker Overseas score. Which is with Winnipeg is 554 and with Brandan 604. Anybody has an idea when they start selecting applicants under Human Capital Pathway.

To get a EOI, only those who are directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative are getting invitations. Here the link for is the draws.

How is it possible to get invited if as you said the strategic initiatives are on hold overseas? I don't get how SW overseas cutoffs are so high. They don't seem possible without getting an SI invite but SI overseas are on hold apparently. Hence the confusion. My cousin in Manitoba can support me and despite having CLB 9 and master's degree I still only get about 475 points. I'm not sure how I can get into the 700's without an SI invite.

Is it possible I can get an SI invite after submitting my EOI? Thanks.

Do you mean the Morden initiative is a scam?
It's a genuine immigration program, many people have been supported through it including me.

Is there any update in your case? I am in the same situation as you. Regards.
