Hello ALL,
I have moved Canada as a student in 2004. Completed my degree, got my job and I have been living in Canada more than a decade.
I am trying to figure out whether I am qualified to apply for citizenship before C24 hits.
I have become landed immigrant November 2012. Between November 2012 and up to date; I have been out of country approx 6 months due to work.
I plan on applying for citizenship in may 2015.
The million dollar question is, how does the days you have lived in Canada count before getting a PR?
Is it from 2004 up to date or it is from the date you apply for citizenship minus 4 years?
