I'm very lucky as we will be living about 15 min from the border (Detroit) so I will have the best of both worlds. I know about the ice tea. We live in the south and ice tea is everywhere.

my husband loads up on Arizona ice tea when he's here, and loves that the big jugs are so cheap!

oooo i have another one... PIZZA!
in the us... good pizza is easy to find (at least in the northeast)
in canada... blech! in Ottawa it's normal to put the pepperoni UNDERNEATH the cheese. Why would anyone think that is a good idea?!?! Pepperoni belongs ON TOP of the pizza!

OMG! THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so, SO proud of myself when I ordered pizza for delivery the first time here (spaking French on the phone is MUCH harder for me than in person), but then so very disappointed when the pizza arrived. They call them "TOPPINGS" because they're supposed to go on TOP. Not sure who thought that sad, soggy mess with toppings under the cheese was a good idea.

RIGHT?!?! Like really, who does that?!?! Oh, canada does! I now have to SPECIFY i want the pepperoni on top, or order domino's so i can feel like i'm at home. :) plus, i've found the pizza in Canada to be super doughy, though i like how they give you dipping sauce automatically. What's with canadians and garlic dipping sauce anyway?!?!

I order pizza from pizza pizza and the toppings are all on top. Not sure why some pizza places coats toppings with cheese. I always order the thin crust. I didn't order pizza to eat pizza dough. I order it for the toppings.

yes and is your pepperoni on top? even when ordering multiple toppings, the pepperoni will be under the cheese and the rest on top. RIDIC! :P

i will have to try pizza pizza then. and capri.

What is it with Capri? I don't understand the issue with Capri. I know they are Capri pants. But don't understand the issue between US and Canada on Capri pants.

??? i was referening a pizza place someone suggested.

capri pants are just unattractive. they make everyone look stumpy because for the most part they cut the leg off at the widest point in the calf. i'm not familiar with an "issue" between us and canada with capri pants?!?! i'm confused...

On you mean Capri is a pizza place? Strange name for a pizza parlor. But then again Capri is an Italian region. So makes sense.

haha... yes, someone above mentioned capri as a pizza place to find. at least that's what i thought the name was. :)

I know that this is a little silly but it always bugged me that the KFC here (or PFC if you are in Quebec) doesn't have those buttermilk biscuits that are everywhere in the US. I am so used to eating KFC with biscuits that I haven't eaten at one here in over 10 years :P

Similar to taco bell. Canada has supreme fries (basically a taco filling on top of fries) but US doesn't.
