I've heard it's very common for people to work as a crew member at Tim Hortons and then apply for PR.

How does this work though? Because isnt this unskilled work? Does this only happen in certain provinces or on a federal level?

Do all crew members get the chance to apply or only those is supervisor/management positions?

Whoever told you this is pulling your legs. Can you cite where you heard this from?

I've heard people say it in conversations all the time. " Working at Timmies for PR ", etc
If it was that easy, tens of thousands of PR applicants would not have waited for EE draws or Non-EE PNP ITAs. Some Timmies might have applied for LMIA during the pandemic (I know A&W and BK did for a few individuals), but those were exceptions due to the lockdown.

I'd feel sorry to those gullible enough to believe and waste money in their applications.

My partner just got hired from Tims and even the manager said that they do help their employees for applying PR.

At best they'll give out a proof of employment letter. That's it, that's all they'll do for your partner. Ask them to clarify how specifically they are going to help.

Crew members at Tim Hortons can apply for PR through Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) in provinces that allow low-skill workers to apply. However, for federal programs like Express Entry or Canadian Experience Class (CEC), only supervisors or managers (NOC B positions) would typically qualify. Each province has different criteria, so it depends on the role and location.

It's interesting how some believe working at Tim Hortons can lead to PR. While certain provinces may offer pathways through Provincial Nominee Programs, it's typically for roles classified under TEER 0–3. Descargar WhatsApp plus

Used to be fairly easy especially in some parts of Canada. Also many became “assistant managers” like at many in retail and restaurants.
