Hi,

My Application got rejected saying NOC codes are not correct. Now I'm lil confused about how to re-submit the application. Do I need to send all the forms again or only one form which has correct NOC codes to be written?

Please advise.

Thank you

Kindly provide more info.
At what stage it has rejected at Nova Scota or local visa office.
If NOC mentioned on your application is the one present on list of 38 or not?
If your job duties match with NOC mentioned on application?
Did they ask u to correct the code and resend applicatin or rejected your application?

Hi,

Thank you for the reply Syed.
I applied in May 2009. And my title is Market Research Analyst. I'm working on NOC codes as of now.

Honeyborn, Here is some more info....
I got letter from Central Intake Office NS stating NOC codes which I mentioned are not in 38 occupational list hence application is therefore not eligible to be processed.

Please let me know how I should move on this. I want to re-apply again. What would be my further steps.

Look forward for your replies.

If you don't have experience in the 38 NOC codes, then you either have to working in Canada on a work permit, or obtain an Approved Employment Option from an Employer in Canada. (you could look at PNPs) otherwise you don't qualify.

Dear smilekumar
I am surprised that you applied in May 09, without studying 38 NOC codes. If you really want to be immigrate in canada you may further study the job duties listed in the NOCs to find if you can match your duties (current or past) to any of the NOCs.

Although there are other options to migrate :
Arranged employment (almost impossible)
Quebec (french language skill is required)

Wish you a good luck. Take care.
