How do I proof of marital status for children 16 years old and older

Hi,

My mom is sponsoring my dad for his PR and I am their 30 year old single child - I am a PR already and i am not a dependent.

To meet the following requirement :

• If you hold a passport from this country, you and your family members included in the application must provide copies of
  • the household registry called the “hukou”
  • proof of marital status for children 16 years old and older

How do I prove my marital status? I am engaged but not married.. I don't see any forms online that i can fill out ..
Has anyone encountered similar issues before? Any insight is appreciated!

Do you live common-law? Meaning do you live with your fiancé ? If not they choose single . There is no drop down for engage

You do not need any of that - you are not a dependent any more, and you cannot be included in the application anyway because you are already a PR.
