I need help with payment!

We are applying outland via mexico city and I'm confused as to which fees I pay.. We are common law.
Right of permanent resident fee 490

and I'm confused if I pay the below fees under the family class section or the Spouse and Common Law Partner In Canada Class section?
sponsorship application fee 75
Principal Application Fee 475

it also says at the top of the payment screen " Immigration Applications for Persons in Canada" and we are outside Canada, can I still use the online payment option through CIC?

I found this on the CIC website below.. However when I go to the Mexico City site it says I need to go to the CIC website so I'm just going in a loop.

"If you are applying at an office outside Canada

You can find information on fee payment methods at the website of the visa office (immigration applications) or the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate (proof of citizenship applications) responsible for your area. Visa and consular offices cannot accept receipts for fees paid in Canada."

anyone??

Yes, you can pay online when applying "outland". You pay the fees under Family Class - not in the "In Canada Class". Choose the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga as the processing office.

Mandatory fees are $75 sponsor fee and $475 applicant fee, plus any accompanying dependent fees. The $490 Right of Permanent Residence fee can be deferred until later in the process (the embassy will ask for it before they will issue the visa), or you can pay now with the rest of the fees to avoid delays.

Thanks so much Robsluv

I'm still a bit confused, when i do what you had suggested it still says "for persons in Canada"- is that fine?

You see near the top where it says "Family Class" under "Permit Holder's Class"? That's the one you want. Further down the list is where it says "Spouse and Common Law Partner In Canada Class". You don't want that one.

Never mind the "in Canada" stuff. Just select the fees under the "Family Class" and that's it.

Remember, this is CIC, they try their best to make things as confusing as possible. Would it make more sense to put 'outland applications'? Sure...but they don't want to make sense...that's the point :p The folks who run the website must be Maple Leaf fans!!! If they were Montreal Canadian fans, it would all be done right...but all in French...with new rules that all applicants (sponsor and applicant) must speak French!
