This may have been asked before, and I'm sorry if it has.
I've just had a hell of a lot of trouble looking for exactly how to attend university in Canada if you are a current resident of the USA. I'm specifically looking at University of Ottawa or Carleton University. I graduate high school in about exactly two years, meaning I would need to start sending applications out in less than that time. I want to also become a permanent resident. I just don't know where to start, or when to start, or what to do. Is it that complicated of a process? Or is it much easier than I feel it is.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. ;D
EDIT: When I do start university there, do I immediately apply to become a permanent resident? Or do I need to be qualified? Or what? :/
DOUBLE EDIT: I'll almost be 18 by the time I would start university. So is it possible for me to start university at 17 and live on my own?
