How difficult is it to obtain a PRTD?

Hi folks, hope you are all doing well. I have a question.

I have received my COPR and will be landing as a new PR in December. However, I was planning to stay there for a week or two and then leave back to Pakistan. Some friends told me that it's not legal to do that and that I gotta stay until the card arrives. Is that true?

I have read on the forums that the card can be couriered or a PRTD can be applied from the home country. Not sure if that's legal or if people did that before without a hitch.

How difficult is it to get a PRTD? Can I be denied for just staying there for a week or be called for an interview to explain why I left so early? Do I need a strong reason to leave Canada after the arrival, esp if I'm leaving within a week or two of arrival?

Same friends also explained about how photos sometimes are rejected and that then it's required to retake photos from inside Canada only. This all really confused me.

Can someone please help me out to solve this dilemma?

It'll be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

No it's not difficult to apply. You are free to leave Canada and travel wherever you want after you land.

You could run into difficulty if you don't meet residency obligations but obviously this doesn't apply to you as you a new immigrant

Well thanks a lot. May be my friends aren't that informed about the whole process itself
