How difficult for fresh IMGR to find a job with 6 mnth internship exp only?

How easy/difficult is it for a fresh immigrant to find a job in Canada with just 6 month internship work experience in the home country in fields like finance, accounting, etc?

Also, does anyone know which one is preferred: a finance job in a bank or a finance job in a finance dept of some company?
