How did you send your application and how much did it cost to send it?

Ill be sending my application in the coming week and im in the process of making my payments. i am applying for an OWP and i have no accompanying dependents can someone show me a break down of payments and the total?

Reading this thread make me a little worried because for sure my application doesnt weight 5 pounds so i'm jus wondering if im missing anything important.

Don't worry about it too much comparing your application to other people's. It is more important for people with spouses coming from developing countries to send more information and proof of a genuine relationship because there will be more scrutiny on an application of the standard of living is lower than that of Canada. My husband and I were together for about 4 1/2 years before we got married and sent in the application, plus I lived there for three years in his country, and he. From a developing country so we felt it more important to send more proof of pictures, rental receipts, support letters, etc.

People whose spouses are immigrating from developed countries with a standard of living on par wi Canada typically don't need to send a ton of proof because there is less worry on the part f the VO that the spouse isnt genuine.

That being said, I didn't think our application weighed 5 lbs, but when the UPS guy weighed it, it was!
