So I'm curious!

I met my now husband on a depression chat room. We've maintained a long distance online relationship for 3 years, and now plan to submit our application in Aug! :D Neither of us were looking, it was random and unexpected. The most important night of my existence.

What about you guys?!

Traveling....it's so easier to fall in love while traveling. No social pressure. No expectations. Just you and him/her. <3

I met my partner on a blogging website! We started emailing and skyping after that, and it went on for about two years, mostly talking about tv shows and life and our ex-girlfriends. Then we decided to meet in person and enter a long distance relationship (I'm in Canada and she's in California).

We can't apply for sponsorship yet, we still need to establish common-law, but I started hanging out on this forum so I could understand the procedure when we finally get there. I can't wait until we can put together our application like everyone else :)

We met in World of Warcraft :P

I started a guild and he was one of the first to join. ;D

Lol I'm starting to see a pattern here!

I met my husband after he kept on messaging me on Facebook. We had a mutual friend that added a picture of him and I, which popped up on his timeline. It was love at first sight (for him hehe). I finally replied and realized he was so so sweet. We spoke online for about 3 months and realized it was time to meet him in person. We both traveled to Amman last December and felt so comfortable with each other we ended up getting married. Best.Decision.Of.My.Life!

Nice to hear everyone else's love stories. Im such a hopeless romantic. <3

I was in your position for almost a year. When I sent my aplication 2 weeks ago I was so happy to put my name on the spreadsheets :D But now it feels like it will be forever before I get any news....At least I have the chance to be with my husband until december, but all this is so stressfull

I met my husband on Christian Mingle.com. I knew the minute I started talking to him he was the one. It just made sense and it didn't matter that he was in another country, I'd do anything to be with him. And I did. From my parents telling me I'm crazy and getting a "prayer chain" going for my "safety", to getting denied at the border and having a permanent record for it, moving to the tip of the US to be as close as possible. You name it I did it. Love makes you do crazy things right? #worthit

It was 2009, first day of university in Pakistan, a class of C++ coding introduction, I already worked on it so got famous in the class. A group of girls came to me and asked me to teach them C++, in that there was a girl who never talked to me, all the girls keep praising me but she stand silent at the back , from that moment I fall in love with her, till 4 years we stayed together for every moment in the university. I eventually moved to Canada in 2013 and went back in 2014 to get married, but now waiting for 1 years for her to get in Canada :(.

The old school way for us - parents. My dad and her mom were in the same hiking club, both looking to get their children hitched :)

My wife has a much more vivid recollection of our first meeting than I do. I was on vacation and we met at a beach party though my sister dating her cousin. Apparently, I said hello and then spend the whole night (until 3am) dancing with my then girlfriend, and my wife now complains that I didn't even dance one song with her.

After I broke up with my girlfriend, I encountered my wife again at the same beach party three months later, we danced and I was very attracted to her. I got tired of dance and wondered off to lay down and watch the stars, when I came back my wife was upset at me for not saying where I was going. That's when she fell for me.

We met travelling in Thailand and from that moment on we were inseparable, and still are!

We met on Match.com. Flew down to California to meet her a few weeks later. Flew nearly every month for 3 years. Talked Everyday for almost 5 years. We've met dozens of people from match that got hitched. Outland spousal in the works!

Super fancy one here....In a bar. ;D

We met on an internet forum. Crazy world.

Met on a canyoning trip with a local hiking club and then sat together at a restaurant after. Then didn't see each other til he joined me on a trip to Nepal...and after that the rest was history :)
