How could I check my application status? Do I have to re-submit?

Hello,
I've applied two months before and got the file number. I heard that there is the way to check the status of my application on the CIC web site (I know that I'm on the famous "38 items list"). However, I can't find the correct link. Can anybody?

Just a small addition - I applied for PR.
And one more question - if I applied in October 2008 and I am on the "38 occupations list", do I have to re-submit my application with the new forms? Or I have to wait and they will rpocess my application as it is.

They will process your application as is. If they wanted everybody to re-apply using the new forms, they would announce it on their website. You can check your status at https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

Put the option as "Immigration File Number" then put the file number as the first two digits are B0 (that is B zero numeric). If you applied in Buffalo I guess the first two digits will be like this. Only use your last name in the Name category.

I find out my immigration file number / receipt number starting from B0******** (was on the back confirmation money order)- I tried to check my application status online but I can't why?

I sent my application to Buffalo second half of April they cashed my Debt begin of may. I still waiting for my medical and official file number.
If they put that number that is mean they start my process am I right?

some advice?
