Why don't you make demand draft or banker's cheque in the favor of "Receiver General for Canada"

It should be in Canadian dollars and payable at Canada.

Note: If you are a federal skilled worker applicant, no matter where you are applying from, you must pay by certified cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the “Receiver General for Canada.” Which Account number ?Payment must be in Canadian funds only. Do not enclose cash. You must send payment to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. See the application guide for more details.

If you are outside Canada
You can find information on fee payment methods at the website of the visa office (immigration applications) or the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate (proof of citizenship applications) responsible for your area. There is not any information ! Visa and consular offices cannot accept receipts for fees paid in Canada.

Diana,

Practically you need to send your application directly to Canadian intake office in Sydney (Nova Scotia) for intial review by immigration officer.

To best of my knowledge when you send your application to CIO - NS you enclose the demand drafr or certificed banker cheuqe along with your application.....bankers cheque is a popular method to make international payments. You can get it from any large bank which deal with foreign exchange matters by paying them local currency. This draft/cheque needs to be in the name of "Receiver General for Canada" amd in CDN$

I trust this helps.

Regards.

Hi diana,
I sent my application last week to CIC.
There is an exchange in tehran, "Sharifi exchange" get certified cheque for you from a bank in dubai. I'd called them before sending my application and he says it costs C$150 for the cheque.
If you want to have their phone number, send me an email to majidhajali@gmail.com and I'll send you their phone number.

but, I myself got a certified cheque from canada. if you have a relative in other countries, you can request them to give a check from their bank for you.

be happy
