Hello!

I meet every requirement I can find for the Canadian Experience Class. My Express Entry Profile Details say "met" for "Canadian Experience Class." I have worked in Canada for over a year on a valid work visa in a professional NOC. I have 492 total points, which as I understand is more than recent minimums to be invited. However, I got a letter saying "you are not eligible for Express Entry." There are no phone number or email address or any other way to ask anyone a question about it, so I have no idea what to do. Does anyone here have any ideas why I might be ineligble? Is there anyone I can actually talk to at CIC to ask about this? Do I need to hire a lawyer to help me figure it out?

Thanks for any suggestions!

As I re-entered everything on a second Express Entry profile, I remembered one detail: I entered an incorrect number for my wife's ECA (education certification assessment). She got one done, but lost the form. So we ordered another form and I entered the correct education level on the form, but I put "12345678" for the certification number. She did not receive a reprint in time before my application was declined, though, because IQAS can't seem to mail us anything.
My Express Entry profile details show 8 points for my spouse's level of education, so I thought the incorrect number didn't factor into it. I know it might have mattered, but I'm wondering if any really knows before re-submitting my application now that we paid for another ECA and have a valid number.

Thanks!!

OK one more thought! Sorry, I keep thinking about things that might have caused my application to fail. I also did not report having more than CAD$10,000 because I planned to qualify under CEC and it's my understanding that funds don't matter for that. Am I wrong? I have more than CAD$10,000 now, anyway, so my re-filled profile reflects that.

My CIC profile was ineligible for three times, however, on fourth time my profile got accepted.

Mistakes I did and later corrected were as follows.
1) Has XXX applied to citizenship and immigration Canada before?
-I changed my answer from yes to No.

2) I wrote my current Canadian work experience in occupation and intended work in Canada but forgot to re-write the same in work historye? Make sure you re-write Canadian work experience in work history also.

Hope this will help resolve your problem.
