How can I begin immigration process after I have married a canadian gal in my co

I live in Nigeria and will soon be married to a canadian citizen.We have dated for a number of years now..When she visited for the 1st time.I proposed marriage to her and she accepted.
She wants to visit for the marriage proper here.
I only want to know how the immigration process will be began.I intend going to join her in Canada. Kindly offer answers.Thank you.......

It is a long process, trust me. I have known my husband for 3yrs and married for 17 months, I still dont have him in Canada with me, from Barbados.
But after the wedding you and your gal will have to obtain the application for Sponsoring a spouse from Immigration. The application to complete in full, is a large task, but that would be the first step. Keep every bit of correspondence that you have exchanged with your gal, plane tickets, letters, cards, pictures. You will need every bit of proof to show you love each other..
