HOW ARE U NOTIFIED ABOUT UR RESULT OF VISA APPROVED OR REJECTED INOFFLINE APPLIC

HELLO I have applied for study permit on 24th july offline(general category) from pune and my visa papers were dispatched to banglore office.now after 15days i received an email that passport is dispatched. one of my friend has applied online on 17th july SPP category and received email of passport dispatched on 3rd aug with that she also received approval on her CIC login id.
Can any one help me out with how offline applicant are notified for approval or rejection. DO we get email of approval ? or we get the result at the time we see the passport?

I believe you have submitted your passport with your application, so you will know the result once you get your passport back, pray for the best, good luck.

another mail abt the UCI number and

Did you get a letter of introduction with the email?

If not, then only the passport can tell whether approved hopefully not.

Hey if doesnt get the letter of introduction in general visa via email ,does that mean rejection? Btw I submited my passport with application

@meanvicky. U can track it at vfs website there is option to track but would just know status regarding processing and dispatched
