How and where to start Canada Immegration?

Hello Forum,

I'm Ravi Theja from India and I'm a software proffessional with 6 years of experience in various technologies (Java, J2EE, Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica, UNIX) in top indian IT company where my clients are from the Banking Domain. My wife has a Masters degree in Micro-Biology from an Indian University and is willing to take up PhD based on the feasibility in Canada. I have plans to move to Canada and I need some help from the experieced folks over here.

Here are few questions I'd start with:

Now that the FSW application process is suspended, what are the other options left for me?
how different is the Quebec- Skilled-worker program from the FSW?
Is the suspension applicable for Quebec-skilled-worker program too?
Can my Wife apply for a PhD program in Canada with the Masters degree that she has got in India?

I'm sure I'll come up with more questions but, I realy hope that I'd get some help from you guys! Thanks in advnce!
