I want to gather thoughts and gain understanding of how do you secure ANY housing being in a status of asylum claimant, holding only the "Acknowledgement of the claim".
Obviously, we are not talking about renting the whole apartments, but rooms.
Where do you find rental rooms or any shelter?
When Work Permit is on hand it gets easier, but what until then?
Do you have to disclose your situation to the landlord if you rent room via kijiji for example?
