hotel booking code in arrivecan

Hello,
I took a 3day hotel package on EXECUTIVE HOTEL VANCOUVER AIRPORT. While filling on Arrive Can I am having two difficulties

1) As I am travelling on 12 August do I need to tell hotel details? I still plan to stay there but this hotel is not in my first port of entry (Montreal) so should I fill it as a normal quarantine or something? Should I not go to hotel ?

2) ArriveCAN asked for 6 digit booking code for hotel but I was not able to find it on my reservation does anyone know about this ?

The 6 digit code was related to the Govt approved hotels that's being scrapped today. If you fill arriveCAN again today 9th August, it will not ask you for the code anymore.

So does that mean irrespective of your vaccination status, you aren’t required to do the hotel stopover?

Yes after 9 August this requirement was waived for everyone
