Just to see if I understand correctly.
it means you did 2nd medical check, 2 more months later then status changed to DM on Nov 2. Based on others cases from DM, still need to wait ranges from 2 days to one month to get PPR?
You said still waiting for PPR and it is already Nov 12 today - ten days after your status changed DM.

My status still shows In Process. My 2nd medical check will be Nov 14.

Yes you are right. It has been 10 days and I haven't received PPR yet.

can you pleaes advise what do you mean by "the first stage of PR application is being approved" I got a letter from immigration canada of hong kong. saying my file has been transferred to the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong for further processing. and they are requesting for additional document. Is this consider as the "first stage of PR being approved". and Yes i got my sponsor approved.

Yes you can get a driver license even you are a visitor. my wife just got one 2 weeks ago.

"first stage of PR application is being approved "means the email / letter mentioned my husband is eligible to be the sponsor.
once you receive this letter / email, MSP will be covered.

let me know if you wanna know more details

Honestly I didn't expect to see this when I check eCAS today, but it says Decision Made.......

Question, for the photos that I have to send for the visa, could I use the same photos I attached with my application back in March? Or it has to be new photos taken recently (within 3months or 6 months) ?

Hello Everyone

Last week, in the Ecas, we got a new line "we started processing your application on PR Side.

And yesterday we received AOR2 email from hongkong visa office.

In the AOR2 Email, it states some of the docs that they need in order to process the application, like the Medical test, police certificate, household register, right of PR fees. etc...

However, we submitted all of that documents already...we paid all the fees. In the Ecas, the PR side even showed that Medical result received.

Is this just a standard email to everyone? or is it a document request email?

I am confused, please advice. Thank you so much !!!
