just got my wife's status changed to "Decision Made", but the details is "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." Just kinda worry about the wording here. Is it gonna be a good news or bad news??

many thanks!!
Looks more positive than negative since you got PPR without any additional document request. You should be hearing some good news soon.

can be both..but i saw you got PPR which I think is good!

BTW which date did they start processing your case? I mean the IP date on ecas

Never been "In process" ..... Jumped from "Application Received" to "Decision Made" directly.. and when I looked into the details, it shows

"1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 3, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on August 28, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Hoping is good news cus I dont really like to word "concerning"...

There were only 1&3 when the status was "Application Received" till last Friday (which had been about one week and an half since my wife sent out her passport), and then I saw 2&4 just showed up together this Monday.....

I guess status appears on ecas really depend on the officer who processes your case...

That's what I am thinking. Nothing detial I can see from the ecas other than the status. Just hoping she can get her passport asap so that I can get her a ticket right away

hi guys, i just saw that my status was changed to in process from Aug 29.
Does it mean that I will have my passport request very soon, eg, in a week?

Actually, I have done my medicals in 2 parts - end-oct 2013 and x-ray in mid-march 2014, as I was pregnant until march 2014.
So my medical will expire in oct 2014, or march 2015, in this case?

good to hear from you, my hubby just received the AOR2 at end of Aug.
As our case were requested police cert to CIC Missassauga already, i wonder know whether HKVO will request again, wish you can share again if you receive PPR from them soon.
I heard those AOR2 received in early June has received PPR too, and their email need them to provide on/before mid of Oct.
It is difficult to guess whether they need you to provide new medical report, so better wait and see the email for what info they need you to provide this time.

Is there anyone here who didn't receieve AOR2 from HKVO, but went into process or got ppr already? My application was transfered on Jul 29 and went into process on Aug 20, but I never got AOR2. The case specific enquiry webpage hasn't been working for a while bow. Is there any other way to communicate with HKVO?

Look up in the HK Immigration web site, it is some kind of certifying your personal details. Have not seen other people been requesting this, not sure what it is for. You better go and get one soon.

Hi :) Finally my status changed to 'in process' :) btw I have questions...

They requested 2 things..

> Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from Hong Kong. This must be received at this office by: 2014/10/02

I went to wanchai to get my police check, and they'll send the result to CIC directly. However, I've lived in Canada over 6 months but I didn't get criminal check in Canada.
Do I need to do it for Canada as well? or can I skip it?

> Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document This must be received at this office by: 2014/10/02

I've passport request. However, I'm in Korea right now, so I'll mail my passport to Hong Kong. Do they gonna mail my passport back to Korea? or Hong Kong?
If they mailed it to Hong Kong, my receiving address is changed. How can I tell them to mail to the new address?
Can I attach post-it onto my passport?

Please help me.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Happy mid-autumn festival <3
