Our Pre arrival was Jan 10 and BGC started in February.

I see. Did you order GCMS notes? I got mine last week. My app was last updated on 6 March, same date as B2. Eligibility, Criminality all passed, except for Security, do not know if it is passed or not cos it’s blank/indacted. Last officer note says RFV ready.

My wife just got Pre-arrival letter but she did not get Bulletin 1 and background check is not started yet. Does this Pre-arrival letter mean that her eligibility is passed? Do we still expect to have an interview along the way?

I got prearrival on Apr 12 which is last week but also bgc not started yet. Others have said their bgc started after ore arrival and then got dm. But my bgc havent started. I was told that usually they give pre arrival when eligibility has passed so then they will move to next step which is bgc.

I hear that IRCC processes application in batch mode (they don't process file individually), so hopefully both of you will get update in the next batch update.

Pre arrival services letter means you may have completed Eligibility Assessment.
Next will be Background Check before final review to request passport.

I heard there are many interviews going through the HKVO and think they would have notified
you by now for the interview queue. Some bgc's are completed quickly depending on who you
are and maybe even started before the GC key updated. I think it has a lot to do with the agent
and their experience. A Sponsor family through HKVO in my area last year start to finish just over 7 months.
They can make it go faster if they ' see fit '.

Hopefully the Easter Bunny was good to everyone having to go through this!
