I didn't have that anomaly with Ecas but it isn't important. The PPR is a big success beyond that stage.SkyOcean said:Hello Everyone
Quick Question
On the Ecas, PR Side changed to DM already, the Sponsorship side still shows IN PROCESS. anyone has the same thing?
Also, my wife (The principle application) has already got PPR and the passport has sent out and received by VAC. Do I need to update my address in Canada as a sponsor with CIC? or my address does't matter to CIC?
Thanks!
in the PPR email, CIC mentioned if the principle application's mailing address has changed, then we need to notify CIC, but they never mention anything about sponsor. For the PR card mailing, I heard a lot of people being asked to provide a mailing address when they land at the airport in Canada in order for them to receive PR card. I am just wondering.smoothsailing said:I didn't have that anomaly with Ecas but it isn't important. The PPR is a big success beyond that stage.
Yes you have to update your address. Your wife is going to be living at your address and CIC expects that. Her PR card will be mailed to your address.
Sorry can you tell me what is "CORP"? Thxdoradetw said:Got my CORP on March 15!!

Is it the "landing paper"?leavingchina said:Dko,
CORP is a Confirmation of Permanent Residence. It's a separate sheet of paper you get when your passport is returned.
Sorry for my typo.... COPR. I think I received the general e-mail that use for passport request. However, in my case HKVO only needs my new formate of photos to issue my COPR. I'm from visa exempt country.duriandidi said:Did you receive PPR? Or CORP was sent without it?
If you already have the COPR then you wouldn't need a new one but CIC has to be updated so that your PR card goes to your new address. You would certainly inform them at your landing interview. If you know your new address now the applicant can inform CIC by the E-cas link for address change. Your new destination would then be implied. My opinion anyway.doradetw said:Hi there,
I am wondering if anyone kwows about this.... The original city of destination that I wrote on my app. was Burnaby, BC. Therefore, I have it written on my COPR. But now my destination city is Duncan, BC. Will I have to contact HKVO to issue me an update COPR?
