Anyways, we are done with everything upto medicals and they received it already. We are just waiting for the passport request. Hopefully, it's smooth sailing this time.

I just fight for what I believe is right and true enough I am right, though this cost me a substantial amount of money but the result outweigh the cost. Sad to say, I wasn't able to claim damages or recover my legal expenses.

This only proves that visa officers are not always right on their decision. They are just humans who are prone to commit mistakes.

You know, just saw your story today and followed the trend from beginning till now, and want to say that it is not over until you win which eventually was the end of the story. Congratulations and many thanks to all forumites that gave insights and solutions to this issues which appears dead but was given life.

To other forumites who thoughts they are delayed, hopeless cos of long interval or even refused, keep hope alive and stay with the forum. People have gotten various solutions to their issues via informations, suggestions and ideas by fellows and knotty cases softened. Be encouraged and keep it tight.

Reviving an older thread I just saw today. I had an "AHA moment" as I read the quote at the start “Have you, ... ever: been convicted of, or are you currently charged with,....." As I understand this "Have you ever been convicted of"....if a person was charged but not convicted, they would answer NO. "Are you currently charged with", again, if the charges were dropped you are not CURRENTLY charged, answer NO. I can see how confusing this would be to answer if your history was not crystal clear. If I have it right, they are asking if you have been convicted in the past, or if there is something pending for which you COULD be convicted in the future.
