Hi there,

My niece applied for Home Child Care Provider (HCCP) Pilot Gaining experience category for her sister baby but unfortunately her application was a bit late and couldn't get in cut off time and was returned. She received a letter saying that and advise her to re-apply either in 2025 or apply for Home Support Worker program. Can she apply to HSW given that she has mentioned that she will be taking care of her sister baby and can she use the same reason for HSW or HSW program is not for child care?

She needs to find a new employer working with an adult in their home who requires full time care. So no, she cannot.
