Applied last January 1, 2024 online under HCCP Category B - more than 12 months experience - Direct to PR - 6:42 PM UTC (1:42 PM EST)

I haven’t received my AOR yet. Just getting anxious because as they said the AOR might be received 3-6 months from application and my work permit will expire this August 2024.

Have anyone of you experience not receiveing AOR and WP almost expires? Did you apply for a new work permit again or extension of work permit or bridging open work permit before your WP expires?

I’m waiting at least 3 months and thinking to contact IRCC about my application. Is it an advisable move or if there’s any possible way what would you recommend?

Please share your experience and advice what’s the best possible solution. Thank you so much. Appreciate your help.

I don't see an issue if you can extend your work permit in August 2024. I understand it is better to be inside Canada waiting for your PR Resolution.

So find an employer and read through requirements on IRCC site for Home Care Pilot. You will need job offer, IELT and ECA for education.

same here applied last January 1, 2024 online under HCCP - Direct to PR (7:39 PM UTC) inside canada.
I haven’t received AOR yet as well. Did you check your portal account if there is anything update cause the last time I check there's a difference now it didn't show the time of submission and the status - submitted, still didn't change as well into "received" is that mean they haven't checked the files uploaded yet if it is complete. or they haven't open the application yet.
