If your wife has ECA and english exam, and education/experience relevant to what she's gonna be doing in Canada, she could possibly apply

Hi, newbie here. Can I put my employer as a representative in my application? Will it affect my application (approved or refused)?

Hello All,

I have received an email from IRCC to provide 3 years tax documents (T4 or Notice of assessment) to prove that I can pay to Home Support Worker.

File was received by IRCC on Aug 15th
And I am sponsor. Applicant has not received any update.

Has anybody else received similar email ?
HOW MUCH INCOME SHOULD THE EMPLOYER HAS TO DEMONSTRATE? AND CAN SHE SEND THE TAXES THAT SHE FILLS WITH HER HUSBAND AND SHOW THEIR HOUSEHOLD INCOME?

Hello,

Hoping to get more insight in the new NOC4411 - home child care provider pilot from the employers perspective. As I read here and on the application forms, I will just need to contact CRA for business number and provide NOA, correct?. I wanted to confirm that I dont need the LMIA application or anything else at this point. Will I need to register for a business name in serviceON and such now or when my employee is approved, im a bit confused. Also I was wondering if the applicant/employee is applying from outside of Canada, does the application forms need to be sent from the applicant directly (ie. from the philippines) or can it be sent from here in Canada (ie. can I send all of her forms on her behalf as she wants me to look over it before submitting) does it matter you think?

thanks for your help.

It depends on the size of the family. After covering the minimum income for the size of the family, your employer should have enough money to pay you

You don't need LMIA. You can use your name as the business name. Call CRA and they will register the business name for you. You need to register before applying, business name is needed in the offer of employment.
The application can be sent from anywhere...it doesn't
matter

Hello!

I have a question, and I couldn't find a specific answer to it. Am I eligible to apply if I am a Home Support Worker, employed by a Health Care Agency, caring for different people in their home? Or the new pilot aims only those who have a family as the employer?

There is nothing about this as a requirement on the Pilot's page. It points to the NOC 4412, which states that a Home Support Worker can be hired by agencies, private households or be self-employed. I'm already in Canada (Ottawa), I have an Open Work Permit. I plan to get some training, work 24 months as an HSW and apply under the pilot. There are plenty of job opportunities via health care agencies.

Are they still accepting applicants for this program who are applying outside canada? I read the note about not accepting new applicants if the employer didn’t apply for the LMIA before June 18, 2019? Can I still give it a try?

How much time it takes for the work permit after you submit the application? Can someone guide about timelines for whole process?
