Is there a minimum cutoff in terms of overall income for employer ? Like can a household making 95k qualify for being an employer for home child care pilot

Hi Syed,

When you sponsor your sister in law, did you provide a detailed explanation on why you pick your sister in law? Did you provide proof that you advertise on job sites and did not get any applicants thus hiring your sister in law? I believe you submitted the IMM5983e form (the job offer).

Hi Mani,

As far as I know, for your sister's spouse - he'll need the IELTS only for work permit not the education credentials. Just because your sister will be the primary applicant for the PR eventually and her spouse will be a dependent. She will not need any point from her spouse....hence the education creds are not important. But your sister will need both IELTS and Education Creds as this is a direct pathway for the PR.

I want to start to fill the forms and upload the other documents into the site but I could not find the category of Home child care provider in the list of categories.
I have chosen -Economic- and there was not needed category.
do you happen to know why?

Maybe it is because the 2023 program has reached quota and the program doesn’t open until January 1. No details from government have been given.

Aha, now i got it. so it means this program will reopen on January 1? am I right? according to the site

however it is impossible to enter all documents within 1 hour when it opens in January. Oh gosh, I will have to fill my application really fast

I don’t think there has been an announcement for 2024.

I finished filling the online forms and updating the pdf forms in the PR application site. under the "Home Support Worker Pilot: Gaining experience category". but now that I entered the system blocked me and says "Submissions under this category are now closed."

We have reached the maximum number of applications we can accept under this category. The application you started can no longer be submitted. It will expire shortly from this portal and you will no longer have access to it. It is your responsibility to save any information you would like to keep.

Also when I try to create a new application the "Home Support Worker Pilot: Gaining experience category" is not listed anymore.

I hope they open the option not in January 1, because is a lot of work trying to update everything in that day.

I don’t think there has been an announcement for 2024.

The site "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ome-support-worker/some-experience-apply.html" says "Applications for this category will reopen in 2024. ", the pilot expires in June 2024. It is a 5 year program

Correct because it is closed for 2023. It will re-open on January 1. When I said announcement, all I mean is that they haven’t posted any changed requirements.

The application portal closed on the 28th of November.

You can reapply when they reopen by January 2024

Hello everyone, please has anyone who did paper application in January 2023 received request for medicals? Got my AOR and Biometric request 5th July 2023. Completed Biometrics 17th July 2023. No further communication from IRCC. Tnx
