Hello Fellow Members,

My Sister received the Eligibility passed letter on Feb 22nd for Jan 2023 application. It says "This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the Home Child Care Provider Class. It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements of the permanent residence pre-assessment stage under the Home Child Care Provider Class.
Your temporary residence application has been approved and an occupation-restricted open work permit is being issued. This work permit will allow you to work in Canada as a temporary resident to gain some or all of the 12 months of work experience needed for your application for permanent residence."

What is the next process after this, will she get a PPR or there are few more steps. Also her employer financial condition has changed, can she work for any other employer in the same occupation or can I become her employer without issue as I meet all the criteria. Thanks

Help needed!!! Please

I work under an agency as home support worker. Basically,
I will be completing my one-year experience as a Home Support Worker (HSW) with my company on May 8th, 2024.

My concern is
During the initial phase of my employment, I faced challenges as my company was unable to provide me with the required 30-hour workweek. Consequently, I have to work an additional 10 weeks to fulfill the program's one-year experience requirement.Thats is till july 27th,2024 .Unfortunately, program ends on june17th,2024.Therefore i can't apply through direct pr category.
, should i apply through gaining category or direct pr category with documents saying the reason?
If i apply in gaining category , as per the requirement: i should work under a private person right; it shouldn't be a business. I give community care but i work through a company. Should i need any documents or can i apply if i work under a company.?

My sister received PPR in Feb 2024. She have arrived now. My question is how are you doing the payroll for your HCCP's.
Is your accountant doing it for you?
You have purchased any software to DIY?
Or you have created an Excel Template?
I know we can prepare payroll online on CRA website but it won't shown the YTD amount on the paystub. Please response if your are able to or direct me to the forum where I can possible find an answer for this.

Also, I do understand this might not the place where I can get the answer but just want to know how you guys are doing it.

It is about 36 months.

Do I wait 36 months or there are some steps comes one by one like medical and like biometrics and others how can I approach them for any update in my application

You can use webform to ask for an update but since the process could takes 3 years you could be ignored since you applied in 2023. 3 Year is the maximum. some people got pr in less than 1 year. every case is different. Compare your progress with other people with similar timeline as you to get an idea.

Hi All,

Seeking suggestion on the issue faced by my sister while submitting her passport.

She is an applicant for the "Home Child Care Provider Pilot" program under the "Gaining Experience Category" from Bangladesh. This is an Economic PR and her main application number for this program is - "E00*******". she got the Eligibility passed letter from IRCC and were asked to submit her passport. Now since she is under the "Gaining Experience Category", as per the program rule, she got a "Temporary residence permit" first to gain the required experience in Canada before she is eligible to submit the PR application. Hence, she was granted a Work Permit (with an application number starting W - "W00*******"). Now the VAC (VFS global) is having issues with their appointment submission system in their website and hence my sister is unable to secure an appointment. VFS Bangladesh is not helping and we are unable to find any email ID or contact number aside to the webform in VFS Global website. We have mailed them 100 times using that webform...without any response whatsoever.

Just wanted to check if any of you have faced similar issues and if there is any solution to this problem.
