I am a European citizen and have a valid TFWP for Canada. I was wondering now since I am travelling outside of Canada a lot for work (mostly Germany and upwards of 183 days this year) if this could pose a potential problem at some point for the CIC guys. Rumour has it that after 183 days abroad you would not be subject to Canadian income tax anymore. How does this affect the TFWP? Could this be reason enough for them to say something like well since you are not physically present, go ... yourself?
